How do I find the best Polygraph expert for me

The first thing to remember when selecting a polygraph expert is that not every state requires a license for the testing of people on polygraphs. So the first thing to do is check to see if your state requires a license. We have a list of the states requiring licenses and the contact points for their licensing boards. The states that do not require a license are the ones you must be especially careful in locating a qualified expert. Following is a list of things to look for when choosing your polygraph expert:

·         Is the Polygraph expert licensed in your state ( If you live in a state requiring a license )

·         Is the expert a member of a recognized polygraph association? All members must prove they graduated from an accredited polygraph school before acceptance and must complete an internship under a full member of the association.

·         Does the expert utilize a state-of-the-art computerized polygraph instrument

·         Does the expert use techniques tested and approved by the American Polygraph Association

·         Has the expert completed yearly continuing education classes approved by the American Polygraph Association

·         If you are a business and you desire to test employees, does the expert test in compliance with the U.S. Department of Labor Employee Protection Act regulations

·         How long has your Polygraph expert been conducting tests regarding your problem?
